David Bowie’s estate to be brought to the public, in 2025

The Victoria and Albert Museum in London will host more than 80,000 objects from David Bowie’s career, unveiled to the public within two years. This exhibition of exclusive objects will be presented for the first time in 2025, according to the British museum’s director, Tristram Hunt. To be kept in The David Bowie Centre for the Study of Performing Arts, in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in Stratford, the collection will feature items from six decades of history. According to a statement from the museum, the archive will enable an understanding of the artist’s creative process, with the display of song lyrics manuscripts, sheet music, letters, awards, album covers, original clothing, photographs and much more.
David Bowie, born David Robert Jones, died aged 69 from cancer. He was a visionary rock star, who toured the world of music, theatre and fashion in a few decades.
