Aman Europe Reawakens

The Aman universe

PMmedia Adv.
Amanruya, Turkey
In response to the opening of the season, the Aman Europe Reawakens programme welcomes the higher temperatures with some must-try additions. From increasing cultural experiences to upgrading outdoor areas, everything points to a promising summer within the hotel group. Creating memories and strengthening ties has never been easier, and now more than ever.
For anyone who appreciates a bit of history and dark sandy islands, Amanzoe, in Greece, is a great choice. With sublime views, the space is designed for revitalising sea and sun bathing, joined by exceptional and welcoming service. Wishing to delve deeper into its gastronomic offerings, the resort challenged chef Norbert Niederkofler, whose restaurant in Italy has been awarded with three Michelin Stars, to create a five-course menu – Four Hands. Set off on this taste-rich journey, in which the products are harvested from Greek lands. Also new is the Beach Club, which will now serve dinner on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Visualize: on the palate, the best of Italian cuisine and, on the horizon, the glowing sunset. A perfect combination, if you ask us.

The venue is equipped with a new, open-air lounge area, while in the pool area the focus falls on Japanese cuisine, creating a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere. The Bostani Breakfast is the latest arrival in the gastronomic universe, the menu of which includes exclusive dishes, inspired by the season. In the spa area, there more news to relish. For wellness lovers, a new programme is now available: the Optimal Living Mindfulness Retreat. This plan is based on a retreat that helps body and mind buzz, fostering mindfulness, breathwork and meditative movement. It includes revitalising treatments and enlightening talks by experts. If you prefer adrenaline-pumping experiences, try the boat or helicopter activities; you may well discover the most remote and idyllic places on the island. On your return from your adventure, the Summer Series programme awaits you, with dance, theatre and live music shows.
If the plan is a holiday overflowing with glamour and culture, the Aman Venice, in Italy, is the ideal place. Currently enjoying its 10th anniversary, the hotel is focused on creating a special event that reflects the historic floating city. Chef Norbert Niederkofler will bring his award-winning talents to Aman Venice, with the Cook the Lagoon menu. This features six unique, sustainability-inspired gourmet dishes. Nettle cappelletti pasta in a seaweed broth is just the start of a journey like no other. If, for some reason, you are unable to be present at the anniversary celebration, you will always have the opportunity to sample the menu at the Blue Room restaurant, every evening from Tuesday to Saturday. In addition to culinary joys, nautical experiences are a treat to behold. Enjoy a personalised tour of the sublime islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Birdwatching is also included, as this is home to many birds. For the end of the summer, the Aman Venice proposes the Redentore festival, which celebrates the deliverance of the city from the plague. As the festival closes, delight in the fireworks while savouring a delicious cocktail.

The Amanruya, in Turkey, is the ideal choice for romantic stays. The garden and the birds that visit it contribute to the feeling of isolation and there is nothing better than being lulled by the melody of nature. The menus for this season will enjoy changes, with chef Omer Ozkan Cam at the helm. The focus will be on wines, as a new series of wines from native grapes is to be introduced. Olive oil will be under the spotlight too, along with art, which will be an attraction for Aman fans.
Morocco is home to the Amanjena, the last Aman suggestion for this summer. Open all year round, due to the mild temperatures, the hotel offers an enticing programme for this season. The private gardens and individual pools make it an attractive option for large families, along with the scenery it provides. Travelling through the desert on quad bikes or relaxing by the pool, fun at the resort is a given. For the little ones, there are plenty of activities to choose from, including tennis lessons and animal-watching trips in the area. To keep tradition alive, don’t miss the group sessions that the Amanjena has planned for you, where the best Moroccan stories will be told, accompanied by hot chocolate and sweet popcorn.
The art of hospitality is what makes this collection of retreats a success on an international level. Today, it has 34 hotels and resorts guided by serenity, following the philosophy of «in the middle of nowhere with everything around».
