CPLP immigrants in Portugal get residence permit up to one year

PMmedia Adv.
Portugal will automatically grant a one-year residence permit to immigrants from the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), according to a government order. The document, signed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, José Carneiro, includes a fee of 15 Euros for the digital issue of the residence permit certificate. The application for protection status is made through a digital platform. This model will allow CPLP citizens to benefit from a protection status that gives direct access to social security, national health and tax number.
