The future on four wheels

PMmedia Adv.
The planet is already showing many signs of change and Peugeot is paying attention to these with the new future model it has just unveiled. Peugeot Inception Concept is a car that represents the next generation of electric cars, intended to be on the road from 2025. With a feline appearance, it displays sensual curves and a colour that interacts with the outside environment by tinting. The i-Cockpit® technology reinvents the sensation of driving and you just have to let yourself be guided by the wind. The French brand guarantees it will incorporate a «simpler and more refined style language» to this prototype presented at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show. The four-door saloon on a Stellantis STLA Large platform will be powered by a 100-kWh battery and a 680 hp engine. As if the 800 km range and 100 km/h in less than three seconds were not enough, the five-metre-long model displays a very futuristic interior. With a smartphone-like dynamic, it offers an interior with innovative technological perspectives, providing unique experiences. But the best of all is yet to come: the car will allow for the restoration and recycling of parts, as well as periodic software updates. In practice, this means that Inception will enable certain key parts to be exchanged when necessary, and therefore the exterior and interior can be adapted from recycled parts, ensuring a model with greater longevity. We’re talking about possible replacements of the seats, steering wheel and even the dashboard, a unique flexibility that, combined with the technology it presents, brings about a car programmed for 25 years of furious experiences.
