Montblanc launches a new collection in the name of the
magical fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm, which have endured generation after
generation. The brand celebrates the art and creativity of the writing duo with
the Montblanc Writers Edition collection, inspired by the Children’s Fairy
Tales, specifically Snow White, Hansel & Gretel, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel. The realisation of this collection is based on four
editions, which share the appearance of a wooden stick, the unusual shape of
the clip which, when viewed from the front, reveals a twisted root but, when
turned sideways, displays the profile of the Brothers Grimm, and the ring on
the lid on each writing instrument, which is engraved with the iconic words "Es
war einmal”, which translates as "Once upon a time”. As a further complement,
it incorporates burning flames on each nib, which represent the fires around
which the children sit to listen to the tales.
